Refunds
Ask within 14 days and you get your money back. There is no form to fill in and no reason to give.
In effect since August 21, 2026
The policy
If you buy $149 of access and it is not what you expected, email hello@thesecondbuild.dev within 14 days of your purchase and ask for a refund. You will get one. We will not ask you to justify it, sit through an interview, or explain what you did not like, although we will read it with interest if you tell us.
How to ask
One email, from the address you bought with, saying you want a refund. Include the purchase date if you have it, which makes it faster, but the email address alone is enough to find the purchase.
How long it takes
We process the refund within three business days of receiving your email. Your bank or card issuer then takes its own time to show the money, usually five to ten business days. That part is out of our hands.
What happens to your access
Your license ends when the refund is processed and the content stops loading. Your progress stays in your own browser and we do not touch it, so if you ever buy again you pick up where you left off.
After the window
After 14 days we do not offer refunds as a matter of course, because at that point you have had the material. If something genuinely went wrong, for example you were charged twice or you never received a working license key, write to us anyway. That is a mistake to fix, not a refund to argue about.
Chargebacks
Please email before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee and takes months to resolve, and asking us directly is both faster for you and cheaper for us. No refund request inside the window will be refused.
